If you want to reduce your reliance on Twitter, consider RSS. In a way, RSS feeds are what Twitter ought to be: a reverse chronological list containing only content that you chose to follow. (Indeed, Twitter had RSS feeds until 2012.) Below is a list of some RSS feeds that might be useful to Apple developers and others with a strong interest in Apple. Many other sites also have RSS feeds, though it's not always clear where they are, so you may have to dig to find them. And if you run a site yourself, please provide RSS support, otherwise your site may be totally dependent on Twitter.
